Kapolei Christian Academy

Rooted in faith

Built on the belief that all children can learn.

We believe every child is made on purpose, for a purpose. That conviction shapes how we teach — with patience, high standards, and grace — and it is why families across Kapolei trust us with what matters most.

Faith is not a subject we tack on. It is the reason we refuse to write a child off, the reason we meet each one where they are, and the reason we keep going until it clicks.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Our story

One teacher, four students, one stubborn belief.

Kapolei Christian Academy began in early 2000 — one teacher, one room, four full-time students. That teacher, Linda Sofa, was already known across the island as “The Reading Tutor,” having helped ESL and special-education students since 1985.

Word of mouth grew the program into a school — first as Sofa-So-Good Learning Center (named for founders Faitala and Linda Sofa), then as Corvid Academy as it added online learning and new locations. Today it continues as Kapolei Christian Academy — a Christ-centered school built on the same belief it started with: every child can learn.

Come see for yourself. Visit a support day, meet our teachers, and watch how your child could learn — no pressure, just a conversation.
